Actress Antara Mali

Antara Mali has come a long way from the bordering-on-plump girl of Mast to the bold and spunky heroine of Road. Her dad is the renowned commercial photographer Jagdish Mali and her mother is a theatre actress. Her grandfather, Shantanu Mali was a painter. With a legacy like this, it was only natural that Antara Mali would take to the arts, though it was films that interested her.


But it has been a roller-coaster ride for Antara till now who made her debut in a low-budget film called Dhoondte Reh Jaonge, which went unnoticed.  He was so impressed by her performance in 'Company' that he called her personally, and congratulated her.
