Sameera's versatility as an actress and a trained Indian classical dancer made her perfect for Bollywood films. She debuted in a music video that got her noticed and kick started her movie career as one of the top actresses in India and has appeared in over fifteen films in just four years. She has shown her ability to carry off multiple characters in films like the controversial blockbuster Musafir, where she played a rape victim who takes revenge to Kaalpurush - Memories in the Mist, an art house film where Sameera plays a double role as a middle-class housewife and a prostitute which won India's highest award, the National Award and has received critical acclaim on the festival circuit.

Rambha made her debut as an actress in Aa Okkati Adakku and then was seen opposite Vineeth in theMalayalam films Sargam (1992) and Champakulam Thachan (1992).

In Bollywood, Rambha was seen opposite stars like Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty, Kamal Hassan and Govinda.

She played a Jewish girl in Gramaphone. It was Kasthoorimann which propelled her career forward. She won the Filmfare Award. She also won the National Film Award for Best Actress for Paadam Onnu: Oru Vilapam, in which she played a young Muslim girl who is forced to marry an older man.

Lakshmi Rai is a Mangalorean but was born in Belgaum, Karnataka on 5th May 1981 to Ram Rai and Manjula. She is from the Bunt community of coastal Karnataka and has two older sisters, Reshma and Ashwini. Lakshmi's nickname is Krishna, her mother tongue is Kannada. Her singing debut was in the movie Rakhee and she received the Filmfare Award for the Best Playback Female Singer(2007) in Telugu. In the Kollywood industry she sang the title song for Kaalai. She was a supporting actress in Yamadonga directed by SS Rajamouli, which proved to be a big hit. She also sang a couple of songs for this movie.
